Opportunity:
Under the Plexifilm label, design a series of four DVDs about the visionary designers Steve Jobs, Charles Eames, Philip Johnson and Dieter Rams.
Solution:
These visionaries designed useful and impactful designs that became timeless. They pushed ideas further, and kept searching for better ways to communicate concepts. As I designed the DVD series, I embraced this mindset, and I developed a set of DVDs that are timeless because they are useful. I pushed the idea of what a DVD case is used for, and gave each case its own purpose beyond that of simply being a case.
